About the course: 

Business of Pastures is designed to incorporate your individual farm needs and provides a pathway for you to develop a productive, profitable and sustainable animal production system. The workshop focuses less on the operational issues associated with growing grass and more about strategy.

What are the Career Outcomes: 

This short course is aimed at producers, farm managers and farm workers.

How do I gain a Qualification: 

On successful completion of this skill set, students will be issued with a statement of attainment. These competencies can build towards gaining a Certificate IV in Agriculture.

Can I get Credit for previous study/experience?:

Fees and Charges: 

For eligible participants, this training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.

The State Government is responsible for setting the tuition fees for Government funded training offered by RIST. The tuition fee, including acceptable concessions, is documented in the Ministerial Direction on Fees and Charges and this document is reviewed on an annual basis by the Government. 

In addition to the Government funded training, RIST also delivers a range of commercial programs which are operated on a fee for service basis. Fees and charges for this type of training are not governed by the Ministerial Direction.
