What Participants are saying about the course:

“I decided to do the Certificate IV course because I found that most employers were looking for people with qualifications over experience. Gaining a qualification is essential if you’re looking to work your way up and get better money. The cert IV course was great for expanding on the skills I already had.”
Phillip Kuhndt, Lucindale, SA

About the course:

At RIST, Certificate IV in Agriculture can be done as part of a Traineeship or as a stand alone qualification.

As a stand alone qualification the training can be delivered in class or online and also includes practical units enabling students to develop valuable skills that can be applied to the workplace.

A Traineeship is a paid full or part time job that involves work on the farm and includes a combination of on farm and off farm training.

The Certificate IV includes one specific core unit, however the remaining units are selected to suit each individual and can be tailored towards a particular agricultural sector the participant wishes to focus on.
