This MLA EDGEnetwork® PROGRAZE workshop demonstrates how to integrate management activities, make the most of resources and increase sustainability of your farming system. Each session is run on a participant’s farm, ensuring practical and applicable outcomes. The workshop will help you to better manage your resources, budget feed to reach your targets, monitor pasture quantity & quality, assess animal & pasture productivity and set production targets.
Efficient conversion of pasture to animal products that meet market specifications is an important target. To achieve this, you must start with a production system capable of maintaining pasture quality and productivity. Attending a PROGRAZE workshop can provide you with daily decision making tools to achieve this.
PROGRAZE will allow participants to increase their confidence in grazing management decisions within their on-farm career.
On successful completion of this skill set, students will be issued with a statement of attainment. These competencies build towards gaining a Certificate IV in Agriculture.
