Information for RIST Trainers
RIST Trainers
The success of the RIST model for training is because it utilises industry specialists in their particular fields to deliver the training courses. These deliverers are required to have very high levels of vocational experience in their particular field, have appropriate qualifications and they must have a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training, TAA OR TAE10.
Becoming a RIST Trainer
To ensure the quality of training RIST offers meets the requirements of Essential Standards and Conditions of Continual Registration (AQTF 2010), RIST has established a set of guidelines for potential trainers to complete prior to contractual agreements being reached. RIST uses these guidelines to assess each potential trainer’s suitability to deliver accredited training (see attached application form).
