Whole Farm Grazing Strategies
Whole Farm Grazing Strategies aims to achieve a balance between maximising production while integrating rick management into a grazing strategy. Participants work in groups to tackle some of the challenges in implementing a grazing strategy on their farm. Groups will design and implement a grazing strategy that meets their production goals, establishing persistence and environmental sustainability for different pasture types and land classes on their farm throughout the year.
This course will provide participants with better strategies and practices when it comes to grazing, allowing them to be more successful in their on-farm careers.
On successful completion of this skill set, students will be issued with a statement of attainment. These competencies build towards gaining a Diploma of Agriculture.
